oxygen masks can generate a cloud of particles (aerosols) from their
exhalation ports, which can travel as far as 0.4 meters, posing a
potential risk.
This mask combines oxygen delivery with a filter medium that covers the exhalation ports. FiltaMask
is intended for use in patients with respiratory infections who may be a
source of infectious aerosolized pathogens and who also require
supplemental oxygen.
