The Inogen One G3 Backpack features a cool mesh shell with vents to ensure the concentrator does not overheat during use. In addition, specially designed openings at the top of the backpack allow for easy connection of cannulas and external AC or DC power, without ever having to remove the device from its packaging.

The base of the backpack is designed to hold an 8 or 16 cell battery attached to the Inogen One G3 unit. The backpack's adjustable straps ensure comfort and a good fit.
